Louise Boles Arnder

Mrs. Louise Boles Arnder, age 87, of Mount Airy passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Arnder was born in Patrick County on November 1, 1937, to the late George Hannibal and Etta Durham Gunnell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she’ll be deeply missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene Leftwich, Teresa Samuel and Robert, Bridget Hanks and Billy; stepdaughter, Lynne Arnder; stepson, David Arnder; grandchildren and their spouses, Michael Woods and Amanda, Mitchell Samuel, Lisa Griffin and Jon, Brandy Hanks and fiancé’, Kyle Thompson, Breanna Jones and Richard; great grandchildren, Barrett Woods, Luna Thompson, Layla Griffin, Sage Jones. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arnder was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Lee Boles, second husband, Jack Junior Arnder; son, Jesse Dean Boles; sister, Ernestine Gunnell Rogers; brothers, Lester Gunnell and Clinton Gunnell.
