Ms. Louise Audrey Rivers, age 77 of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026. She was born in New York on June 21, 1948 to the late Fredrick Charles Rivers and Edith Crawford Rivers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicky Ford.

Louise will be fondly remembered as a loving and devoted partner, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved her family deeply and always took great care of them. She brought so much joy to not only those who knew and loved her, but also anyone that she met along the way. Her fearless but sweet natured soul brought so much joy and sunshine to those around her.

Left to cherish her memory, is her significant other of 38 years, Alfred Henley; daughter, Lillian Coppa; granddaughter, Tiffany Coppa; grandson, Anthony Coppa; brother, Patrick Devone; siblings, Edie Nadeau, Connie Steffey and Larry Rivers; and nephew, Anthony Nadeau.
