Mrs. Loyce Gaye McKenzie McMillian, age 81, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 11, 1944 in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Geroge and Mary Ann Bobbitt McMillian. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 62 years, Larry McMillian; son, Steve McMillian; daughter, Debbie McMillian; grandchildren, Tyler Neal (Rachael), Alex Cox; great-grandchild, Charlotte Neal; sisters, Joyce Caudill, Nancy Hawks (Bobby). In addition to her parents Mrs. McMillian was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Vass, Mary Brooks; brothers, George and Joseph McKenzie. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM at with service conducted by Rev. Richard Lowman. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Monday from 12:30 PM until time to leave for the graveside service.
