Lucille Ray Jessup

Miss Lucille Ray Jessup age 86 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Lucille was born in Stokes County on August 9, 1927 the only child of Randolph D. and Ollie Lynch Jessup. She was a member of Unity Church in Claudville, VA. and was retired from Renfro Hosiery Mill in Mt. Airy. Surviving is a special cousin, Arthur Jessup and his wife Marie, special friends Norma Haynes and Yvonne Edwards, several cousins and many friends who will miss Lucille's pound cakes and chocolate cakes which she enjoyed baking and sharing. Graveside services will be held on Friday April 18, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Skyline Memory Gardens with services conducted by Rev. Buford Jessup. There will be no formal visitation held at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Unity Church c/o Linda Mitchell 57 Dan Valley Rd.
