Luther Charles Anderson

Mr. Luther Charles Anderson, 78, of Ararat, VA, passed away Thursday night, October 20, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Anderson was born July 20, 1933, in Patrick County, VA, the only child born to the late William and Mollie Epperson Anderson. He retired from Spencer's Inc. and attended Unity Presbyterian Church in Ararat, VA. He is survived by a host of cousins. A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 23, 2011, at 3:00 PM at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Kelly Giese officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.
