Margaret Jeanet Phillips Davis

Margaret Jeanet Phillips Davis, age 81, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living in Mt. Airy. She was born on July 21, 1942, in Surry County to the late Joseph and Pearlie Mae Edwards Phillips. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will surely be missed by all who knew her. 

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Carlene Walker and Christina Easter; daughter-in-law Mary Ann Davis; three grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Nathan Causey, and Stephanie Davis; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, JoAnn Willard; and one brother, Bobby Phillips. 

Margaret had a passion for family gatherings, where her delicious cooking became the heart of every celebration. Her legacy lives on in the recipes she shared and the joy she brought to our lives. Forever in our hearts, forever missed. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Davis; three sons, Nolan Christopher Davis, David Nelson Davis, and Smitty Phillip Davis; daughter, Bonnie Kistler; six sisters, Belva Cobbler, Brenda Beverly, Sylvia Conner, Versie Nelson, Martha Phillips, and Francis Sechrist; four brothers, Jerry, EJ, Gray, and Jack Phillips; three granddaughters, Megan Davis and Taylor Thompson, Tina Kistler; one grandson, Kevin Davis.
