Mrs. Margaret Martha Harrell, age 85, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Surry Health & Rehab. Mrs. Harrell was born in Surry County on January 24, 1934, to Charlie and Mamie Slate Harrell. Surviving is a sister Roberta Harrell and nieces. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Oakdale Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation.
