Margaret Annalee McMillian Hawks

Mrs. Margaret Annalee McMillian Hawks age 66 of 106 Meredith Lane, Lowgap, passed away at her home Sunday, January 4, 2015. Mrs. Hawks was born January 1, 1949 in Carroll County to Roger and Girty Hawks McMillian, she was retired from Cross Creek Apparel and was a member of Westview Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Jim Hawks of the home, Four sons and daughters-in-law Tim Jones, Barry and Melissa Jones and Brad and Angel Jones all of Cana and Kelly and Kayla Jones of Clarksville, TN., step daughter Terri Hawks of Galax, VA, Ten grandchildren Justin and Tracy Jones of Austinville, VA., Logan and Jessica Jones of Independence VA., Brandon Jones, Breonna Jones, Brent Jones all of Cana, Alexandra Jones, Tanner Jones, both of N.C., Wyatt Jones of Georgia, Rylen Jones, and Ivy Jones both of Tennessee one great grandson Conner Jones of Cana, Three step grandchildren Savannah, Jimmy and Anna, Six sisters and brothers-in-law Magilene Pell of Winston Salem, Irene Haynes, Ruby Hawks, Joyce and Kermit King, and Linda and Harlie Cagle all of Cana and Teresa McMillian of Mt. Airy, Four brothers and sisters-in-law Ray and Belinda McMillian, Roland and Betty McMillian, Rommie McMillian and Ronnie and Teresa McMillian. In addition to her parents Mrs. Hawks was preceded in death by an infant sister. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Sandy Ridge Primitive Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Greg Jones and Rev. Richard Hawks with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the church from 12:00 P.M. until time for the service.
