Margaret "Nana Margaret" Faye Wood Stowers

Mrs. Margaret Faye Wood Stowers, age 68, of Lowgap, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday June 19, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Surry County on June 19, 1955, to the late Fred and Sybil Wood.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dannie Joe and Bradford Wood.  She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Jeffery Dean Stowers, Sr. of the home; four children, Bryson Wood and wife Tabby of Lowgap, Chrystal Wilmoth of Yadkinville, Jeffery Dean Stowers, Jr. and wife Trish of Mount Airy, and Ashley Ferguson of Elkin.  She had five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  In addition, she is survived by two brothers and two sisters, Ronald Wood (Diane) of Lowgap, Calvin Wood of Mount Airy, Teresa Smith (Richard) of Lenoir, NC and Elaine Shaw (Larry) of Lowgap.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
