Marian "Lee" Elgin

Ms. Marian “Lee” Elgin entered eternal rest with God on September 6, 2026. She was a compassionate, free spirit that loved her family and friends. A woman of extraordinary beauty and strength - she was unapologetically herself. Lee’s dog, Copper, held a special place in her heart. She was a loving mom and grammys, who put the needs and wants of others before herself.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters and son-in-law, Amber Elgin and Parker Smith, Kelsey Romero and Jay; grandchildren, Jace Shelton, Olivia Romero, Mia Romero; sister, Robbin Epperson; niece, Haley Stevens and Cody and her family. Ms. Elgin was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Elizabeth Edwards; loving partner, Aaron Lankford. The family will hold a celebration of Ms. Elgin’s life on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, family and friends will share a meal and memories from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Starlight Event Center 972 N. Andy Griffith Pkwy, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Flowers may be sent in memory of Ms. Elgin as a loving tribute to their life and legacy.
