Mrs. Marilyn Jeanette Boles Lambert, 75 of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 30, 2026, with her loved ones by her side. She was born in Surry County on December 20, 1950, to the late Albert Lee Boles and Annie Blanche Smith Boles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed. Mrs. Lambert loved her flowers, and you would often see her at her mailbox beautifying her driveway. Grandma was the best hunter and fisherman of the family. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Tommy Randall Lambert; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Zachary Ramey; three sons and a daughters-in-law, David and Chelsea Lambert, John and Marilyn Lambert, and Rev. Joe and Julie Lambert; nine grandchildren, Abigail Lambert, Kelley Kidd, Evan McMillian, Dustin McMillian, Anna Ramey, Luke Ramey, Gavin Lambert, Max Lambert, and Mason Wood; four great grandchildren, MacKinley Ramey, Sawyer Badgett, Maverick Moore, and Forrest Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Cecil and Susan Boles; and by several other family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kimberly Jeannette Lambert. A graveside service will be held in the Lambert Family Cemetery (200 Clifford Lane, Mount Airy, NC 27030) on Wednesday September 2, 2026, at 11:00am with Rev. Joe Lambert officiating. The Lambert family would like to give a huge thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
