Martha Jeanette Musgrave

Martha Jeanette Musgrave, 66, of 153 Petunia Lane, Mount Airy, NC passed away peacefully in her home on May 9, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 24, 1959, to the late Virginia Mae Atkins. Along with her passion and love of nursing, she was musically gifted. She played the mandolin and piano, as well as the autoharp. She inspired many with her tenor and soprano singing voice. She adored her children and grandchildren with her whole as heart, as they adored her just the same. Above all she was cherished by all who knew her kind and warm spirit. Those left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Bryan Lee Musgrave; daughter, Cristy Juanette Snow; son, Patrick Shey Roberts; step-daughter, Ember Danielle Leigh Musgrave; grandson, Chapel Taft Overby; grandson, Gabrielle Lee Brady; sister, Kay Turman; sister, Donna Swafford; mother and father-in-law, Chris and Ron Musgrave; and special friend, Janet Neives; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her mother, she is preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Atkins Sr.; sister, Vickie Mae Baker Brown; and her 3 nephews, Jeremy Clay Baker, Max Ray Baker, and Gary Lee Wall. The family will receive friends, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody-Davis Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lacey Mayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Skyline Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atrium Heath Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center at 1 Medical Center Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
