Marty Gray Jessup
Mr. Marty Gray Jessup, age 61, of Mount Airy passed away unexpectedly, March 26, 2024, at his home. Mr. Jessup was born August 13, 1962, to the late Grady Clifton and Donreath (Donnie) Jessup. Marty was a loving son, brother, and friend to the many that were blessed to have known him. Mr. Jessup is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Vickie Sutton and husband Kenney, Robin Cooke; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bradley Jessup and wife Joyce, Grady Jessup and wife Bonnie; his nieces and nephews which he thought of as his own, Kendra Price and Chris, Hanna Power and Sammy, Jeremy Cooke and his fiancé Katie Guynn, Heather Jessup, Leslie Easter and Eric, Jacob Smith; several great nieces and nephews; special friend and their sons, Brady Hopkins and Cynthia. A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Oakdale Cemetery, with the Reverend Kenney Sutton officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Jessup family.
