Marty Van Marshall

Mr. Marty Van Marshall, 69, of Pilot Mountain passed away peacefully on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson surrounded by his loving family.  He was born January 29, 1954, in Surry County to the late Virginia Booker and Claude Woodson Marshall.  Mr. Marshall was owner of Marshall Auto Sales.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be missed by his family and many friends.  Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife, Sharon Marsh Marshall; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jimmy Upchurch; son, Brandon Marshall; grandchildren, McKenzie Upchurch, Madison Upchurch, Chase Marshall and Chance Christian; and great-granddaughter, Adalyn Gray Covington.  A private memorial service will be held at the funeral home with the Rev.
