Marty Bearl Snow

Mr. Marty Bearl Snow, age 70 of Mount airy passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at his home.   Mr. Snow was born in Surry County on February 23, 1954, to the late Mac Bearl and Nellie Hall Snow.  Marty was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.   He was a faithful member of Bear Trail Baptist Church in Cana, Virginia and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.   Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Snow Cox and Robbie; son, Justin Brintle; two grandchildren, Cannon Cox, Victoria Brintle; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve Mac Snow and Sharon; along with several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Snow was preceded in death by a grandchild, Lillian Brintle; three sisters, Sheila Jo Snow, Brenda Carol Snow McCraw, and Sharon Annette Snow.  A funeral will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Reverend Tim Crotts officiating.  Interment will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Moody Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Gates Pharmacy for going above and beyond to help Marty and his family.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
