Without your help, there is no way I could have ever taken care of her alone. You were a blessing to mom and to me and every family member. A very special thank you to the “Robertson Family” during her time of illness and for their many wonderful years of friendship, kindness and love whom she considered her family: Parlie, Betty Ann (whom she thought of as another sister) Mack, Eric, Thatcher and Saber. Many numerous and wonderful nieces and nephews and one “very special long distance niece”, Patricia Gail McGettigan of Vestavia Hills, AL for her many weekly calls and all the wonderful surprise cards and gifts she sent to Mama so often in the mail to brighten her days. Thank you to Mama’s niece, Wendy Marion for assisting Mama with all her finances throughout the years.” Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, c/o Julia Barr, 8137 Wards Gap Rd., Cana, VA 24317.
