Miss Mary Ann Johnson, age 74 of Dobson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her home. Miss Johnson was born on October 24, 1951, in Forsyth County. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her love of antiques, whether furniture or jewelry as well as the buying and selling of items at the flea market. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving is her daughter, Beth Johnson; son Brian Johnson; two grandchildren, Bentley Wrede, Brice Ayers; and her special dog, Clementine. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in the death by her father, Rufus Johnson; her mother that raised her, Virginia Johnson Seal; along with several brothers. No formal services will be held at this time. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
