Mary Francis Cox Atkins

Mrs. Mary Francis Cox Atkins, 43, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, October 6, 2008. Mrs. Atkins was born October 5, 1965, in Tokyo, Japan, to Ted Garfield and Mary Catherine Truman Cox. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are her husband, Dale Atkins of Mount Airy; a daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Levi Hill of Ararat, VA; two sons, Chris Atkins and Corey Atkins, both of Mount Airy; a grandson, Blade Ian Hill; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky and Mike Moody of Mount Airy and Sara and Jesse Edwards of Lawsonville; and a very special cousin, Dawn Cox Lawson. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 9, 2008, at The Community Church, conducted by the Rev. Joey Thompson and the Rev. Ray Hutson.
