Mary Frances Cummings

Mrs. Mary Frances Boles Cummings, 78, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at Surry Community Health and Rehabilitation in Mt. Airy.  She was born in Alexandrea, VA, on December 28, 1943, to the late Odell and Mary White Boles.  Mrs. Cummings was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by a daughter, Shelia Sparks and Rickie Long; a son, Jimmie Sparks, Jr.; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and David Dickus; brothers and sister-in-law, Jessie and Mary Boles, Timothy Boles; many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Cummings; sisters, Faye, Joyce, and Christine; a brother, Junior.  A funeral service will be held Monday, February 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Volunteer Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
