Mary Juanita Hodges

Mrs. Mary Juanita York Hodges, age 85, of Dobson, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020, at her residence. She was born March 24, 1935, in Iredell County to the late Jay Burette and Mary Viola Coe York. She is survived by her loving husband, Leonard Moses Hodges; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Andy Carpenter; son, James Hodges (Lisa Ring); grandchildren, Jamie Carpenter, Robert Carpenter, Julia Hodges and Adam Hodges; one great-grandchild, Colt Carpenter; and her brother, Jack Turner York. Due to the limitations of numbers for public gatherings at this time (Covid-19), private graveside service will be held. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Hodges family.
