Mary Elizabeth Jenkins

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Johnson Jenkins, 62, of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday night, December 23, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.  Mrs. Jenkins was born January 12, 1958, in Surry County, the youngest of three daughters born to the late Wilford and Ethel Morrison Johnson.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years, David Eugene Jenkins of the home; a son, Matthew Jenkins and his girlfriend, Amanda Kennedy, of Mount Airy; five grandchildren, Joseph, Austin, Matthew, Eadith, and Lennon; and two sisters, Mickey Johnson Murib of Winston-Salem and Nelda Johnson Thomas of Mount Airy.  Due to public health concerns, no visitation or memorial service will be held.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
