Mary "Maggie" Magdalene Young

Miss Mary "Maggie" Magdalene Young, 63, of Mt. Airy passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at her home. She was born in Stokes County on August 18, 1951 to the late Dewey Everett and Cora Webb Young. Miss Young was a homemaker. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Young Bowman; a brother and sister-in-law, Carl Edwin and Glestie Young; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Young was preceded in death by her son, Randall "Randy" Everett Young; two sisters, Geneva Eloise Hall, and Mertice Irene Chandler; a brother, Earnest Garfield Young. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
