Master Sargent Kelly H. Langford USAF RET, age 83, of Mt. Airy, N.C. passed away Wednesday April 29, 2015 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C. Mr. Langford was born January 11, 1932 in Danville, VA to the late Kelly and Esther Soloman Langford. Mr. Langford served for 22 years in the United States Air Force. Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Mrs. Fleta Mabe Langford; his daughters and sons-in law, Esther Hall and Tammy and Stephen Sicignano; his adopted daughter and husband, Jana and Dave Lemmert; his son and daughters-in-law, Perry and Debroah Langford and Mitzi Langford; his sister, Annette Lankford; his brothers, Guy Lankford and Bruce Lankford; his first wife, Beatrice Langford; a special companion, his dog, Chloe; nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Langford was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Langford, and a sister, Yvonne Banister. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 on Saturday, May 2 at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, N.C. Funeral services will follow immediately in the Chapel at Moody Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Floyd and the Rev. Frank Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Grove Community Cemetery.
