Max Ray Baker Sr.

Mr. Max Ray Baker, Sr., age 69 of 123 Coliseum Lane, Mt. Airy, NC passed away at home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. He was born May 1, 1953, in Surry County, NC to the late Odell and Mary Jane Doss Baker. He was a retired from being a construction worker/ handyman. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Kristy Moser Baker, grandchildren, Britnie Baker, Austin Baker, Tyler Bounds, Jesse Bounds, Makayla Baker, Mackenzie Baker, great grandchildren, Lennox Jenkins and Korbin Jenkins. In addition to his parents, Mr. Baker was preceded in death two sons, Jeremy Baker and Max Ray Baker, Jr., three sisters, Bert Collins, Lila Eaton and Marilyn Mears. Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Monday, March 6, 2023, at the Moser/Baker Family Cemetery conducted by Rev. Hank Robertson.
