Maedell Parks Quesinberry

Mrs. Maedell Parks Quesinberry, age 80, of Mt. Airy passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Quesinberry was born in Surry County on January 8, 1943, to the late Robert Lee and Margie Holyfield Parks.  Mrs. Quesinberry is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah and Chris Tate, Susie and Chad Watts; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Amy Quesinberry; grandchildren, Haley and Robby Horton, Paige and Matthew Fouty, and Brady and Maggie Watts; great grandchildren, Adalynne Fouty, Sawyer Horton, Maverick Watts; sisters in-law, Margaret Parks and Rachel Parks; aunt, Hattie Forbes.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quesinberry was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Maynard Quesinberry; sisters, Ann Parks, Louise Hamlin; brothers, Bruce and Earl Parks.  There will not be any formal services at the funeral home.  A private burial will be at The Community Church Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Hall officiating.  The family would like to say a special thanks to caregiver, Annette Sawyers.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
