Michael David Cummings

Mr. Michael David Cummings, age 69, of Elkin, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was born May 8, 1954, in Johnston County NC, to the late Howard Claude Cummings and the late Ida Mae Moretz Cummings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dianne Fulk Cummings; and his son, Jason Cummings.

            Left to cherish his memories are his son and daughter-in-law, Justin Cummings and Farren Adams; grandchildren, Kole Cummings and Khloe Cummings; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie Woods, Becky Sechrist and Dale, Janie O’Neal and Mike, and Sharon Hanks and Melvin; brother and sister-in-law, Peanut Cummings and Dee; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Regina Hardy, and Mitzi Pfendt and Herbert; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy Fulk, and Andy Fulk and Sheila; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Church of Shoals, with Pastor Julie Wilburn officiating. Burial Will follow in the church cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Cummings family.
