Michael Eugene Carter

Mr. Michael Eugene Carter age, 63, of  Mt. Airy, NC passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born January 14, 1960, in Surry County to the late Charlie  Eugene and Lois Marshall Carter. He was retired from NC Foam Industries and was a member of Beulah Land Baptist Church. Surviving is a son, Douglas Carter and significant other, Casey Phillips, daughter, Christina Hall, grandchildren, Preston Hicks, Kole Carter, Michael Needham, River Carter, Raine Petty and Rosarah Petty, a sister, Mary Ann Carter. Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, February 16, 2023, at  Moody Funeral Home Chapel conducted by. Rev. Richard Loman and  Rev. Roger Miller will conduct the services. Burial will follow in the Marshall Family Cemetery on Laurel Fork, VA.
