Michael Joseph Harrell

Mr. Michael Joseph Harrell, 37, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2008, at his home. Mr. Harrell was born October 28, 1970, in Buncombe County, son of Mary Ann Harrell. Surviving are his mother, Mary Ann Harrell of Mount Airy; a sister, Jennifer Hopkins of Mount Airy; a brother, Mark Harrell of Mount Airy; a special aunt, Brenda Eaton, who loved him and took special care of him, of Mount Airy; other aunts, Robin Crigger and Lisa Molina, both of Mount Airy; and uncles, Johnny Harrell and Coy Harrell, both of Mount Airy. Michael was preceded in death by his special mom, Alice Harrell. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Todd E. Byrd and the Rev. James Easter, and burial will follow in the Korners Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
