Michael Gregory Hayes

Mr. Michael Gregory Hayes, age 71, of Claudville, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.  He was born in Surry County on August 31, 1952, to the late Silas and Lucy Heaton Hayes.  He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Donna Leftwich Hayes; daughter, Anna Hayes; son, Jamey Hayes; Aunt Mary Baugess.  A memorial service in honor of Mr. Hayes will be held at a later date.
