Michael Andrew Johnson

Mr. Michael Andrew Johnson, 61, of Meadows of Dan, VA passed away at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston- Salem on Saturday, July 6, 2019 after a long bout with cancer.  He was born in Germany September 26, 1957 to the late Martin Luther and Ava Maria Lenz Johnson.  Mr. Johnson retired from Atlantic Exhibits where he journeyed all over the world.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles traveling all over the east and west coast, and relished time with his wife and family. Mr. Johnson will be warmly remembered by his loving wife, Robin Bingham Johnson; daughters, Sara Johnson and C.J. Campbell, Jessica Johnson and Joe Bigley, and Samantha Carter and Spencer; step sons, Nathan Huffstetler and Kari, Anthony Huffstetler and Jada, Travis Gosnell and Katie, seven grandchildren, Annabella, Maci, Hailey, Natalie, Jeremiah, Alex and Trace; and two more grandchildren on the way..  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Meadows of Dan Baptist Church with Pastor Shawn Carter officiating.  Burial will follow at the family cemetery near his home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
