Michael Kermit Lowe

Michael Kermit Lowe, 64, the man who always made us smile, got to smile at Jesus on Monday, November 7, 2016, after his huge heart just got too full. He was reluctantly released by his adored wife, Carol; his favorite daughter, Maggie; and his sweet baby sister, Holly Scott, her husband, Greg, and their son and his wife, Dustin and Ashley. He is also survived by a sister, Paula Bellick and her husband, Morris. Mike was an artist, musician, master storyteller, historian, comedian, and sawmill man. The family will receive friends Friday, November 11, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, with a celebration of his life to follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate to the Calvary Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 314 South Franklin Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030. His daughter and wife are very passionate about this ministry, and Mike was very passionate about his wife and daughter.
