Michael Ray Norman

Mr. Michael Ray Norman, 53, of Mt. Airy passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at his home in Mt. Airy.  He was born in Guilford County on September 7, 1970, to Dinah Gale Hawks and the late Billy Ray Norman.  He is survived by his significant other, Kimberly Brown; a son, Harley Norman and Emma; a stepdaughter, Brittany Chandler and Jason; a grandchild on the way; his mother Dinah Gale Hawks Norman; sisters and brother-in-law, Michelle and Mike Smith, Lisa France; many nieces and nephews and friends.  In addition to his father, Mr. Norman was preceded in death by a niece, Kayla Mayes; a nephew Brandon Smith.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the and Rev. Josh Jenkins officiating.  The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
