Michael Barry Sneed

Michael Barry Sneed passed away at his home in Dobson on July 21st 2023; at the age of 65. He was born in Surry county on June 23rd 1958. He is preceded in death by his father Junior Wesley Sneed and his mother Mary "Edith" Sneed; as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents. 

Surviving is the mother of his children Mildred Akers Sneed; two daughters and sons-in-law Sophia Anderson and Anthony Anderson, Lory Puckett and Oscar Puckett. As well as his step-children and in laws; Imogene Akers Jones and Bobby Jones, Ronald Akers and Susan Akers. Also, six grandchildren, five step grandchildren and multiple step great grandchildren.

Michael was a member of New Grace Baptist Church and an avid golfer and fisherman. In honor of his wishes, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Snead family.
