Miss Maxine Trent Collins

Maxine Trent Collins, age 76 of Vesta, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on April 5, 1938 to the late Bruce and Eliza Trent Collins.

Maxine was a long time participant of the Patrick County Developmental Center and resident of Little Ivy Group Home in Vesta, VA, and was of the Christian faith.
Maxine is survived by her guardian and friend, Pam Hubbard of Stuart, VA, her friends at Patrick County Developmental Center, Piedmont Community Services and her companions at Little Ivy Group Home in Vesta, VA, and numerous outreach individuals and relatives.
A memorial service for Maxine will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, and a second memorial service will be held at the Patrick County Developmental Center at a later date.
