Miss Megan Marie Davis

Miss Megan Marie Davis age 12 of Mt. Airy, NC passed away Monday , November 24, 2014. She was born April 23, 2002 in Surry County to Nolan and Mary Ann Barker Davis. She was a seventh grade student at Gentry Middle School where she served on the Soccer Team, Drama Club and in the Gentry Chorus. Surviving are her parents Nolan and Mary Ann Barker Davis of the home, grandmothers, Rachel Barker of Mt. Airy, and Margaret Davis of Mt. Airy, a great grandmother, Lela Jones of Mt. Airy, two aunts and a spouse, Melissa and Neal Hegler of Mt. Airy and Carlene Walker of Mt. Airy, NC, several cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Holy Cross Baptist Church. Rev. Butch Holder, Rev. George Junior Jones and Rev. Trent Lyons will conduct the service. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donor's choice. .
