Miss Lucy Jeanette Draughn

Miss Lucy Jeanette Draughn age 65, of Martinsville, VA and formerly of Mount Airy and Stuart died Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Golden Living Center in Martinsville, VA. Miss Draughn was born July 29, 1949, the daughter of the late Austin Samuel and Elsie Moore Draughn. She is survived by her aunt, Mrs. Ruby M. Moore of Mount Airy and her cousin, Dr. Michael Moore and his wife, Janet Moore of Danville, VA. In addition to her parents Miss Draughn was preceded in death by her uncle, Evin Moore. Funeral services will be held Monday March 16, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roger Gilbert officiating. Interment will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Golden Living Center, 1607 Spruce St., Martinsville, VA 24115, or to the Haymore Memorial Baptist Church, 319 Rockford St, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
