Miss Margaret Louise Hooker

Miss Margaret Louise Hooker, 79, of Mount Airy, passed away Sunday morning, February 1, 2015, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born August 13, 1935, in Surry County, to the late Lester and Rosa Jessup Hooker. Miss Hooker was a member of Mount Herman United Methodist Church. She is survived by four brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Janie Hooker of Winston Salem, Osby and Shirley Hooker of Fieldale, VA, Leon and Geraldine Hooker of Mt. Airy, Donald and Carolyn Hooker of Greensboro; two sisters-in-law, Betty Hooker of Mt. Airy, and Alice Hooker of Stuart, VA; several nieces and nephews; many special friends. In addition to her parents, Miss Hooker was preceded in death by four brothers, Anslie, Ralph, Billy, and Gray Hooker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rickey Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Herman United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy.
