Miss Nora Belle Hopkins

Miss Nora Belle Hopkins, age 79 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on June 29, 1935 to the late Walter Thomas Dudley Hopkins and Rosa Hubbard Hopkins. In addition to her parents, Miss Hopkins was preceded in death by three brothers, Amos, Paul and Roger Hopkins. She was a charter member of Fairystone Baptist Church and was retired from J.P. Stevens.

Miss Hopkins is survived by four sisters, Laura Edwards of Stuart, Margaret Ray of Charlottesville, Ruby Barnard of Stuart and Mildred Dodson of Stuart; and two brothers, Robert Hopkins of Martinsville and John Hopkins of Collinsville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Richard Dodson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
