Miss Rebecca Frances McMillan

Miss Rebecca Frances McMillan, 90 of Mt. Airy passed away at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson on Friday, July 06, 2012. Miss McMillan was born in Surry County on November 28, 1921 to the late James Anderson and Lottie Lee McCreary McMillan. She retired from Lamm Drug and was of the Baptist Faith. Miss McMillan is survived by two sisters-in-law, Naomi McMillan of Mt. Airy and Mary M. Tilley of Ararat, NC; a niece, Frances Villari of Mt. Airy; nephews, Michael McMillan of North Potomac, MD, David McMillan of Hilton Head Island, SC, Steven McMillan of Ararat, VA and Christopher McMillian of Ararat, NC. In addition to her parents, Miss McMillan was preceded in death by three sisters, Evelyn McMillan, Virginia McMillan McNeil and Mary McMillan Eanes; three brothers, Woodrow, Frank and Wayne McMillan; a niece, Phyllis Eanes Gordon and a nephew, Dennis McMillian. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at King Memorial Park with Rev. Christopher McMillan officiating. There will be no formal visitation. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017.
