Miss Geraldine McRoberts

Miss Geraldine McRoberts, 71 of Mt. Airy passed away at her home Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born in Roberson County on April 3, 1942 to the late Jonah Henderson and Gertrude Copeland McRoberts. She had worked 20 years for Hospital Pharmacy and was retired from the Renfro Corporation. Surviving are three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Allene and Bobby Love of Mt. Airy, Evie and Jimmy Riggs of Mt. Airy and Marie Chilton of Poughkeepsie, NY, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Irving Edward McRoberts of Pinnacle, and Junior and Kathy McRoberts of Mt. Airy and a special friend, Adrian Hughes of Westfield. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Winston Puckett. Burial will follow in the Indian Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home.
