Miss Taylor Nicole Thompson

Miss Taylor Nicole Thompson age 17 of Mt. Airy, NC passed away Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born April 12, 1997 in Surry County to Timothy "Tim" Thompson and Mary Ann Barker Davis. She was a senior at North Surry High School. Taylor was an avid photographer and was attending Surry Community College obtaining a Cosmetology degree. Surviving are her mother and step-father, Mary Ann Barker Davis and Nolan of the home, father, Tim Thompson of Mt. Airy, grandmothers, Rachel Barker of Mt. Airy and Judy "Claudie"Thompson of Dobson, and great grandmother, Lela Jones of Mt. Airy, an aunt and spouse, Melissa And Neal Hegler of Mt. Airy, two uncles, and spouses, Rocky Thompson and Linda of Mt. Airy, Gary Thompson, Sr. and Darlene of Forbush, a very "special friend", Dakota Goss of Mt. Airy, several cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Holy Cross Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev.Butch Holder, Rev. George Junior Jones and Rev. Trent Lyons. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
