Miss Elsie Mae Worrell

Miss. Elsie Mae Worrell, 87, of Mount Airy, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born on August 27, 1927, Elsie Mae was a beloved daughter of the late Mont and Sally Worrell. Miss. Worrell loved to quilt and will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. She is survived by her loving siblings, Polly Jarrell of Richmond, Va, Betty Jo Herrell of Bakersville, NC, and Raymond Worrell (Susan) of Ennice, NC; a very special aunt, Elizabeth Seal Hawks of Mt. Airy, NC ; nieces Sandy Robinson, Betsy Herrell, Tara Wilson and nephew, Tim Jarrell. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home at 1:30 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2015 with a service to follow at 2 pm. Burial will be at Skyline Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to your favorite charity.
