Mr. Alton Wilfred "Bo" Clement

Mr. Alton Wilfred "Bo" Clement, age 73 of Ararat, VA, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Clement was born in Patrick County on September 12, 1940 to Woodrow Wilson and Ila Martin Clement. Mr. Clement retired from Pike Electric after forty-five years of service and was a deeply devoted husband, faithfully caring for his precious wife especially during her extended illness. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all his family and many friends. Those who will always cherish his sweet memory are his wife, Phyllis Vipperman Clement; a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Barry and Tammy Clement of Mt. Airy; a granddaughter, Beth Clement Meadows and husband, Benji also of Mt. Airy; a brand new great granddaughter, Emma Kate Meadows; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Judy and Rayford Gammons, Ruth Carol Vipperman, Kelly and Becky Vipperman and Teddy Vipperman and a very special friend and caregiver, Margaret Bowman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mark George and Rev. Tommy Martin. Burial will follow in the Clement Family Cemetery.
