Mr. Arnold Gray Doby

Mr. Arnold Gray Doby, 75, of Dobson passed away peacefully on Wednesday,July 3, 2013 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by his loving
family. He was born in Surry County on October 4, 1937 to the late Alonza E.and Eva Ellen Corder Doby and was a member of North Main Church of Christ. Mr.Doby was retired from Cooper Industries as the General Manager after many
years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard,having proudly served. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Alda Pilson Doby of the home; a daughter and son-in-law,Robin and Mark Kulhawik of Hatboro, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, AnthonyGray "Tony" and Norma Doby of Dobson; his beloved grandchildren, Stephanie Holder and husband Blake, Ashley Clancy, Amber Clancy, Abby Kulhawik; two step-grandchildren, Kristin and Chad Johnson; two great-grandchildren,
Peyton and Brooke Holder ; one sister and brother-in-law, Lois Ann and Ted Stanley of Dobson and their children, Brian Stanley and Lea Ann McCraw. A memorial service will be held at 7 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by the Evangelist. Robert Giesbers, where the family will receive friends from 5 pm until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to North Main Church of Christ Building Fund, c/o Robert Hill 2011 N. Main Street. Mt. Airy NC 27030 in memory of Mr. Doby. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to
the staff of Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home for their loving and compassionate care.
