Mr. Arvil Lawton Hylton

Mr. Arvil Lawton Hylton, age 68 of Stuart, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home. He was born in Patrick County on May 27, 1945 to the late Delmar Ray and Edna Mae Hall Hylton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hylton was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Maynard Hylton
Mr. Hylton is survived by his wife, Judy Martin Hylton of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leisa H. and Phillip Stone of Ferrum, Lorie H. and Richard Jessup of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina; one son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Pam Hylton of Stuart; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Donald Pendleton of Woolwine; and three brothers and sisters-in-law, Clinton and Elaine Hylton of Bassett, Arnold and Larmie Hylton of Woolwine, Clyde and Alene Hylton of Meadows of Dan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Kenneth Terry and Pastor Danny Gilley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at the home. Burial will be private. If desired, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 22099 Jeb Stuart Hwy., Stuart, Virginia 24171.
