Mr. Barry Thomas Dockery

Mr. Barry Thomas Dockery, age 57, of Elkin passed away Friday, May 7, 2015 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. Barry was born March 31, 1958 to the late Tommy Dean Dockery and Betty Jean Stewart Dockery, who survives. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Tammy Dockery of Elkin; his sister and brother-in-law, Jean and James Longworth of Elkin; nephews and niece, Joshua and Kendra Longworth, Jacob Longworth, Riley Dockery and Sydney Dockery. And also a special long time friend and companion, Duchess.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 10, 2015, from 2-3 PM. At Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. The Funeral will then follow at 3:00 PM in the Moody-Davis Chapel with Reverend Austin Caviness officiating. Burial will follow in the Dockery Family Cemetery in Elkin. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy NC 27030
