Mr. Billy Carroll Beck

Mr. Billy Carroll Beck, 61 of Independence, VA passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Twin County Hospital in Galax, VA.. Mr. Beck was born in Surry County on July 29, 1950 to the late Jesse Ray and Fannie Hill Beck. He was a member of Independence United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Curtis Jones of Galax, VA., Earlene and Odell Barrett of Fries, VA.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Beck was preceded in death by two brothers, Baird and Carlos Jones. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lee Huston officiating. Burial will follow in Old Hollow Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
