Mr. Billy Arnold Cockerham

Mr. Billy Arnold Cockerham, 67, of Mt. Airy passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Thorp, WV on April 30, 1948 to the late Jack and Sarah Jarrett Cockerham. Mr. Cockerham was retired from Smith Trucking and was a member of Genesis Full Gospel Church. Mr. Cockerham served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Bowman Cockerham of the home; a daughter, Teresa Cecil of Mt. Airy; a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lori Koehler of Georgia; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Tim Hudson of Mississippi; a brother, Ron Cockerham of Ararat, VA.
