Mr. Billy Lee White

Mr. Billy Lee White, age 73, of Elkin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Surry County on June 6, 1941 to the late Adam G. and Emily Dockery White Jenkins. Mr. White was a well known musician and a member of Living Church of God in Statesville. He was a retired electrician from IBEW after many years of service. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 20 years, Irene Bullin White, of the home; three daughters, Sonya and husband Glen Ganyard of Pilot Mountain, Tracy and husband Jeff Morgan of Florida and Kelly Hensley of Mount Airy; two sons, Doc and wife Christina White of Dobson and Mike and wife Rhonda White of Bristol, TN; eleven grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Ann White Hege and husband Bob of Greensboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, September 12, 2014 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Ehman with burial to follow in Little Richmond Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Flowers will be accepted or memorials made Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home 945 Zepher Rd.
