Mr. Bobby Ray "Tony" Jones

Mr. Bobby Ray "Tony" Jones, 54 of Mt. Airy went to be with his Saviour Friday, January 24, 2014. He was born on January 12, 1960 to Bobby Leon Jones and the late Linda Faye Corn Jones. Mr. Jones served four years in the U.S. Navy. He worked in maintenance for various textile companies. In addition to his father Mr. Jones is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tara Jones and Russell Davis, Tennessee and Lee Pike; a son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Courtney Jones; grandsons, L.J. Pike and baby Davy Jones due in March 2014; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and David Penley; a nephew, Josh Penley and fiancée, Jessica Dance. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 27, 2014 at Midkiff Family Cemetery with Rev. Richard Loman officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Mt. Airy Post 2019 and Pilot Mountain Post 9436. The family will receive friends on Monday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 12:30 until 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials to be made to Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, PO Box 1288, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 to assist with the funeral expenses.
